Today I bought a much needed Umbrella!
Modelled here in the field at the back of our house by my daughter Daisy... (I'm not sure what she is looking at, probably a small mouse, or eek... a snake).
Whilst doing our mini photoshoot in the middle of the field, unexpectedly it did start to rain... and I thought that was just an old wives' tale.
It is very cute and… very dotty (the umbrella is nice too). I've noticed a bit of a theme running in my last couple of posts, dotty things! I seem to have developed some sort of crush on polka dots – bit like Jane at workthatwardrobe she confesses to loving dotty things too!
I got this from the godsend that is Matalan. They are open after work hours... every day... what more can I say?.
Daisy has always called it Mataland, I think the reason for this is that it feels like a small country to her, given how long it takes me to get round it!

thats a good price for a nice looking umbrella
i thought it was a bargain!, only thing is i'm tempted to go all mono with what i'm wearing when i take it out.
Thats a nice field of wheat you are lucky to have such a wonderful garden and to look out across open fields
thanks buryblue, it is lovely but i'm bit worried I will lose little joe in it one of these days!
