Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without all the glorious festive smells. And there aren't many whiffy things better than Yankee Candles.
Today, my daughter and I chose two Christmas scented Yankee Candles, 'Mulled Wine' and 'Christmas Eve' purchased from 'Buy the Light' in Bury St Edmunds.
It maybe cold outside, but indoors it is like a mini santa's grotto. We've just baked cookies and one of the candles is making the house smell super Christmassy, spicy cinnamon... lovely.

If you are stuck for a gift idea for a sister, mum or grandmother, I highly recommend a Yankee Candle. The jar ones last forever. A Yankee Candle is not just for Christmas after all!

I love the Christmas cupcake one, I was going to buy it for myself, but ended up with a Beanpod "cinnamon roll" candle instead!

I love the smell of Christmas inside our home too. I don't have a real tree so I make do with scented candles. I love to use the pine scent to at least mimic the smell of a real tree.
holiday bayberry is currently burning next to me, but Im buying a new one today!
I like pulling out the evergreen scents like Christmas Wreath or Balsam & cedar because I have all artificial trees and the scents make up for it.
I was just gifted Santa's Treats - it smells like sugar cookies and maple syrup. (Or how you'd picture Buddy the Holiday elf would smell.) So good!
